My Approach to recovery

My coaching supports recovery from disordered eating through an embodied, feminist lens; one that honours the wisdom your body carries and the cultural forces that have worked against it.
I believe recovery is possible for everyone. And I believe it requires more than changing your relationship with food - it requires rebuilding your relationship with yourself.
Coaching is not therapy. I don't diagnose, treat, or offer clinical care. What I offer is compassionate, practical support for the everyday reality of recovery: the difficult mealtimes, the triggers, the slow work of learning to trust your body again. My work sits alongside clinical care, focusing on the emotional, relational, and cultural dimensions of healing.
I work in a way that is always client-led, non-judgemental, and rooted in real lived experience.
My vision is a world where people feel at home in their bodies, where shame is replaced with self-compassion, and support is grounded in empathy and connection.
I passionately advocate for ethical, compassionate support, and for creating spaces of hope, connection, trust, and dignity within eating disorder recovery in Ireland.
